Michael Flahault has spent almost a year dedicated to a single aircraft project, the Me-262. His time and effort truly shows in this accurate and stunning rendition of the first combat jet aircraft ever. Not only was it the first operational combat jet fighter, it would go down in history for having some of the most advanced aerodynamics of its day. Most notably the swept back wings that so greatly aided its high-speed performance. A concept, in which the allies lagged far behind. In addition to being the fastest aircraft in the skies, the Me-262 featured tricycle landing gear, and a very powerful armament of 4 30mm cannons. Had it not been for Hitler’s decision to misuse the Me-262 as a bomber, most historians agree that had the Me-262 been applied as a fighter as it was designed, the course of the war would have been greatly changed. Luckily for the allies and the free world the decision to use the Me-262 as a fighter came too late in the war to stop the allied victory.

This aircraft has a beautifully rendered cockpit that is designed to be flown in at all times. For this reason no 2D panel is included at this time. Highlights include unique animations such as the gunsight rotating in and out of place as well as custom 3D gauges.
